2.1 Personal data that you choose to give to us
Stagecast collects customer information which you provide directly to us, such as when you create or modify an organizer account, request on-demand services, contact customer support or otherwise communicate with us. When creating an organizer account, we may ask you for the following information: Name, E-Mail, Profession, Organization, Address and Phone Number. When you contact us, we may ask you for additional information in order to assist you.
Stagecast does not collect personalized end-user data. When an end-user accesses Stagecast Moments (or App) the first time, Stagecast creates a random user ID that we store but we associate no real personalized data with that ID. Depending on what Moments are used, users leave data in our system - such as pictures they upload, votes they cast or questions they answer. These are stored, still associated with a random user ID.
If you wish to purchase premium services or merchandise through the Stagecast app as an end-user, as available from time to time, additional personal data may be collected but only to the extent necessary to perform payment services. Please note that Stagecast may use third party payment service providers to facilitate your payment and it is important that you carefully read such additional terms which may apply when using such third party.
2.2 Personal data that we receive when you use the Service and App
You may upload photos, videos, sound, and other data to the Stagecast Service using your phone. To do this, Stagecast needs to get access to some functionality on your phone, such as the camera, microphone, speaker, flashlight, screen, accelerator and vibrate function, as well as send you notifications. You can administer such access rights in your phone. Do note, however, that the Service needs access to these functionalities to work properly. To better understand the demands and expectations on the Service, we also automatically collect data relating to how you use the Service and the App. This information is collected for Stagecast’s internal research regarding your preferences and behavior.
2.3 How we use your personal data
The personal data we collect is used to provide you with the Service and the App and to assist you when you contact us. Stagecast may send direct marketing information via e-mail. If you no longer wish to receive such information you can opt-out by contacting Stagecast. Personal data may also be used for internal market analysis, business development, to improve the Service and the App, and for statistical purposes.
2.4 Disclosure of personal data
Stagecast will only process Customer Data to facilitate the Service to you in accordance with the Terms. Keep in mind that pictures, videos, and other data that you upload to the Service will be visible to other users. Stagecast may be required by law to disclose personal data to a third party or a regulatory authority.
2.5 Transfer and storing of personal data
Stagecast is currently using the third party provider Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Ireland for the hosting of the Service and the App. Personal data will be stored in the EU/EEA. Personal data will be deleted by us upon the deletion of your account. We will not retain any personal data once your account has been closed.
2.7 LiveHacks & Mail Information
If you sign up for our Hackathon called LiveHacks through our Google Docs form, we will store some of your information, including your email address, IP address and certain information about the links you click within the emails we send you, on a Mailchimp server. Neither we nor Mailchimp will ever sell your email address or share it with any other party, unless we are legally compelled to do so. If you contact Mailchimp directly regarding your subscription to our newsletter, Mailchimp may contact you directly; otherwise, Mailchimp will never contact you. Only authorized Mailchimp employees have access to our subscriber list. You are always free to unsubscribe from our newsletter.
Stagecast takes all reasonable steps to ensure that your personal data is correct and up-to-date. If you believe that your personal data stored by Stagecast is incorrect, please notify Stagecast and provide it with correct data in order to rectify and update your personal data. You can also correct and update the personal data provided by you directly in the App. Once per calendar year, you are entitled to obtain information about your personal data stored and handled by Stagecast at no cost.
